Disclaimer
Read this before using any rate or tool on this site.
AbokiCalculator publishes exchange rate data and banking tool information for reference purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or transfer any currency. Always verify rates with your bank or remittance provider before transacting.
1. General disclaimer
The information published on AbokiCalculator (abokicalculator.com) is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be, and should not be treated as, financial, legal, investment, or professional advice of any kind.
While we take reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the information we publish, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, reliability, suitability, or accuracy of the information on this site for any particular purpose. Any reliance you place on information from this site is strictly at your own risk.
2. Exchange rate disclaimer
Exchange rates published on this site reflect Nigeria's parallel market (black market) rates as observed at the time of publication. These rates are:
- Not official CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria) rates
- Not guaranteed to be the rate you will receive from any bank, bureau de change, or remittance provider
- Subject to change between the time of publication and the time you transact
- Sourced from publicly available market data and may differ from rates at any specific trading location
Always confirm the actual rate with your bank, remittance service, or bureau de change before completing any transaction. A difference of even a few naira per dollar can have a material impact on the amount your recipient receives.
AbokiCalculator is not a bureau de change, money transfer operator, or licensed financial services provider. We do not process transactions or hold any funds.
3. Bank code tool disclaimer
The bank code validation tools on this site (including IBAN validators, SWIFT code lookups, ABA routing number checkers, NUBAN validators, and all similar tools) check the structural format of bank codes against published standards. They do not:
- Connect to live banking systems or real-time bank databases
- Confirm that a specific bank account exists or is active
- Guarantee that a wire transfer will succeed
- Replace the verification steps required by your bank or transfer provider
A structurally valid code is not necessarily a currently active code. Bank codes can be decommissioned, merged, or changed. Always confirm bank details directly with the recipient and your sending institution before initiating a transfer.
4. No professional relationship
Using this site does not create any professional, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and AbokiCalculator. We are not your financial advisor, accountant, lawyer, or banking consultant.
For decisions involving significant sums of money, cross-border transfers, or currency risk, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified financial professional licensed in your jurisdiction.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AbokiCalculator and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use of or reliance on exchange rate information published on this site
- Failed, delayed, or incorrectly routed wire transfers where you used our bank code tools
- Losses resulting from the difference between our published rates and actual transaction rates
- Errors or omissions in published content
- Temporary unavailability of the site or its tools
